OUR PROGRAMS
We offer placements for toddler’s aged 2+ to young adult’s aged 19+. We will develop specific programs tailored to your child’s strengths and prepare your special child for a successful life.
- You can enrol your child in full-time curriculum with early learning & primary, middle and high school syllabus.
- In addition, your child can partake in extra-curricular activities, including horse riding, swimming, community visits and an after school and Saturday club.
- You can also choose skill-based classes, where your child learns practical-skills which will help the young person gain employment using the ASDAN curriculum, a UK certified course. This provides gainful employment in different service sectors.
- Finally, we also offer a transitional program, which allows your child to focus on areas he or she has difficulties in, before returning to mainstream schools.
THE CURRICULUM
SCIENTIFICALLY MEASURE YOUR CHILD’S PROGRESS AT SCHOOL
- The Village follows the English curriculum and has incorporated speech and language, occupational and dyslexia therapy into the child’s program.
- We offer mainstream curricula from the UK and the GED high school diploma from the US. Key subjects taught are mathematics, English, science, social studies, information and communication technology and physical education. We also offer ASDAN, a life skills program. This makes choosing the best pathway for your child easier.
- The Village is an accredited ASDAN provider. We currently run programs in Personal, Social, Health and Economic [PSHE] Education, social skills, work right, numeracy and literacy. ASDAN focuses on activity-based learning.
- Depending on their ability, students can opt for COPE Award which is equivalent to IGCSE’s or a high school diploma and is recognized by many universities & employers.

Encourages your child to participate in activities that help him, or her, interact with peers and teachers. Uses ‘Social Stories’ to help those with ASD better understand social cues.

How Child Assessment & Planning Works
The village’s Individual Education Plan [IEP] and Team Around The Child [TAC] sheet sets out the targets and general guidelines for the child’s educational, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
We encourage all our parents to be active partners in formulating the IEP’s and TAC.
- First assess your child by licensed psychologists, therapists & specialist teachers. Identify the key special needs facing your child. Develop a pathway to help him or her learn and develop to his or her full potential.
- Assessments cover educational psychology, speech & language, dyslexia, physical therapy, occupational, behaviour and academic skills.
- Provide consultation with the British Dyslexia specialist to administer and interpret the psychological tests for your child.
- Assess the strength & difficulty areas of your child to help provide the right support plan designed for his or her needs.
