Conquer Development Milestones

Boost your child’s self confidence.

EACH CHILD LEARNS DIFFERENTLY

Some will need additional support. While others learn new things quickly. To assess the children’s development and growth, doctors and therapists set developmental milestones.

By the age of 2, a child starts to run and speak a little. At 5, children start dressing up and brushing their teeth on their own.

Has your child crossed these milestones at the appropriate age?

If not, your child could be facing developmental delays.

At The Village we have therapists who can help you and your child get through these stages seamlessly.

HELP YOUR CHILD PROGRESS.
PERSONALLY AND ACADEMICALLY.

Help your child discover its full potential.

The Village follows the English curriculum and incorporated speech and language, occupational and dyslexia therapy into the child’s programme.

Your child will have a class teacher and an assistant. Plus, access to two speech and language therapists, an occupational therapist, a reading therapist, and counselling support.

As research shows that dyslexia is not only about having problems in reading and writing our therapists help children with organization, memory, word retrieval and speed of processing.

Again, our specialists will help children develop phonological awareness and work on whole range of support needed to treat dyslexia.

  • Occupational Therapy (OT)

Our Occupational therapists use a holistic approach in planning programmes.

They take into account the physical, social, emotional, sensory and cognitive abilities of students and work closely with other therapists in our centre.

Some of our OT programs focus on play skills, learning strategies and self-care. OT strategies can also help to manage sensory issues a child maybe having. It also helps the child’s nervous system become more organised/regulated and therefore assists the child with attention and performance.
